The short version

Care Handoff works on your device. What you put into it stays there. There is no account to create, and we do not collect your content.

What Care Handoff stores, and where

Everything you enter is written to storage on your iPhone. It is not uploaded to us, and we operate no server that receives it. Deleting the app deletes that data with it, so export anything you want to keep first.

What Care Handoff asks permission for

Care Handoff asks for exactly these, and only when the feature that needs them is used:

• Your calendar, to add events you ask it to add. It writes only the events you create in the app, and reads nothing else.
• Photos you pick, to attach to your own records. The app opens the picker; it cannot see the rest of your library.

You can refuse any of them and keep using the app; the feature that needs the permission is the only thing that stops working.

What we do not collect

We do not collect, sell, or share personal information, usage profiles, or advertising identifiers. Care Handoff contains no third-party advertising and no third-party analytics SDK that identifies you.

Purchases

In-app purchases and subscriptions in Care Handoff are processed entirely by Apple. We never see your payment details. Whether you have purchased is stored on your device and checked against the App Store.

Children

Care Handoff is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes

If this policy changes in a way that affects what Care Handoff does with your data, the app's App Store release notes will say so.
