Your diary stays under your control

The app stores your diary on your iPhone. You do not create an account. We do not operate a server that receives your diary entries, and the app contains no advertising or entry-analytics service.

What is stored on your device

Local records include dates, emotion and urge ratings, optional notes, custom row labels, skills used, saved skills, your safety-plan sections and contacts, reminder preferences, region selection, and onboarding goal and obstacle answers used to personalize your experience on this device. The app retains a local recovery snapshot so it can try to recover a previously saved record if the current store cannot be read.

The iPhone build is configured to protect its local diary storage with iOS file protection and exclude the diary database and recovery data from iCloud device backup. It does not provide cloud synchronisation. Use the app's manual backup feature if you want a transferable copy; do not assume your diary will reappear on a replacement phone through iCloud.

Backups, reports and sharing

Raw JSON backup export and restore are free. A backup can include private notes, ratings, custom labels, your safety plan and contact details. The exported file is not encrypted by this app. A Pro weekly report contains the selected week's records; notes are omitted unless you choose to include them. Safety-plan and contact data are not included in the weekly report.

The app creates a local file only when you request an export or report, then presents the system share sheet. You choose the destination or recipient. A destination you choose may be another app, person or cloud storage provider with its own privacy practices. We do not choose a recipient or send the file automatically. Temporary export files are removed when the sharing flow finishes; copies you save or send remain wherever you put them.

Retention and deletion

Your retained cards remain readable and editable without Pro. Records are not automatically deleted when they become older than 30 days or when a subscription ends. Use Settings → Delete all diary data to clear the diary and its local recovery copy after the confirmation. Removing the app removes its local app data. Neither action deletes files you exported, copies you shared or information already held by a recipient.

We cannot recover a missing diary from our servers because we do not hold one. Restore a raw backup only after reviewing the replacement warning; restoring replaces the diary currently on the device.

Permissions and reminders

Notification permission is optional and is requested when you choose to set a reminder. Reminders are scheduled locally and use a discreet message. Region selection is manual; the app does not need location access. Plan contacts are typed by you, and the app does not read your phone's address book. The app does not request HealthKit, camera, microphone, photo-library or calendar access for its diary features.

Purchases

Apple processes purchases and subscriptions. The app checks StoreKit purchase information and keeps a separate local entitlement cache to decide whether Pro features are available. We do not receive your payment-card details. Apple handles its own account and payment data under its privacy practices.

Support email and external links

If you email n3at18@gmail.com, we receive your email address, message and any attachments you choose to send. We use that correspondence to respond and investigate the issue, retaining it only as needed for the request and necessary support records. Please do not send diary exports, ratings, safety-plan details or other sensitive content when a description of the technical problem is enough. You can ask us about deletion of support correspondence.

Opening a source, legal or support link sends a web request to the destination website. That site's practices apply to the visit. The app does not attach your diary to those links.

Adults and educational use

This app is designed for adults aged 18 and older. It is a personal record and educational reference. It does not monitor entries, assess danger or contact anyone on your behalf. It is not an emergency-response service.
